    Laser cleaning and Surface Treatments 

    Given industry's growing interest in solid-state lasers for the treatment or preparation of surfaces (deflashing, cleaning, deoxydation, marking, etc.), Quantel now sells a range of lasers specially designed for surface preparation.  The process, based on a photomechanical effect, provides contactless, non-aggressive cleaning with light pulses (no abrasives, sand, chemical products or water).

    These laser systems offer a wide range of possibilities for treating surfaces and restoring monuments, and provide the only efficient solution that does not damage the support or the environment.
    A number of systems are already operating successfully 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on production lines.

    Training
    Training of laser users is carried out in Laserblast and customer
    premises. Upon request, additional training cycles are organised.
    For laser safety, we recommend courses organised by the IREPA
    or the APAVE.
